Restauration of Stockholm’s listed, historic slaughterhouse for Bar Montan restaurant and wine bar. The project is a minimal intervention where as little as possible has been done to the historic fabric. New design elements have been carefully introduced to weave naturally with the existing, creating a distinct new environment for Bar Montan that maintains the unique character of the slaughterhouse and allows it to evolve organically over time in close connection with its users and a multitude of collaborators.
