A series of floating timber structures are joined together, creating a bath house assembly with a protected and intimate interior and an exterior exposed to the elements and the views to the city.
A collonade strecthes along the entire perimeter, creating a covered, semi protected zone between the inner world of the sauna and the open waters of Riddarfjärden, whereas the upper parts provide sundecks and a diving tower for summertime activities.
The architecture references traditional roman baths as well as early local establishments and festive fun fair environments, whilst the colour scheme is borrowed from the warm earthy tones of the historic architecture of central Stockohlm.
