A small holiday home for a family of surfers, in the archipelago south of Stockholm. The 7x7m cabin sits on plinths at the edge of a forest clearing, at the foot of a ridge that separates the site from the sea.

The cabin is oriented with a tall entrance façade towards the open meadow in the northwest, and a low, horizontal facade with wall-to-wall windows, facing the dense forest and the southeast.

The plan is divided in two, with a tightly planned half for sleeping and bathing and an open half for socializing between the kitchen, fireplace and terrace. The building has a standard timber frame construction finished in a formwork plywood façade and corrugated metal roof externally, with timber board walls and floors internally.
